When enrolling your smart thermostat in MidAmerican’s SummerSaver program, you can receive a bill credit of up to $40 annually to help conserve energy when electric demand is high. Program enrollment allows MidAmerican to adjust your thermostat temperature a few degrees between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. during the hottest weekdays (no weekends or holidays) from June 1 to September 30.
